Q. How many types of conversion are there?
A.
Several. Converting your existing loft space with minimal external building work is called a rooflight or Velux conversion. A conversion with an extension to the roof may be called a Dormer or Mansard. There are also hip to gable extensions, wrap around dormers and L shaped dormers.
Q. Which conversion do I need?
A. We will advise on type and all options on first consultation.
Q. Do I need planning permission?
A. Planning permission is needed if you will be exceeding your development allowance. We will advise accordingly. Conversions do however need to comply with building regulations.
Q. Can all lofts be converted?
A. It's not practical to convert some lofts. Our free consultation will highlight this to potential customers.
Q. Are building plans required?
A. Yes, our architect will produce these to incorporate all design aspects and building regulations.
Q. Can I see a completed conversion?
A. We would be pleased to show you a recent conversion at the home of one of our many happy customers.

Q. How much will my conversion cost?
A. Each conversion will be uniquely costed. We have all the experience to accurately quote. Once you have accepted this quote, we will not add in any extra charges.
Q. How and when will I pay?
A. You can pay in stages or on completion depending on timescales. This will be made clear from first consultation.
Q. Do I need to arrange other trades?
A. No, we will project manage from start to finish, using fully qualified electricians, plumbers and plasterers. All included in the total price.
Q. How quickly can you start?
A. We can start work within one month of permissions being granted by local authority.
Q. What area do you cover?
